28 day returns

We always want you to be happy with your online purchase, but if for any reason this isn't the case, then CJ Performance Cycles offers a 28 day returns policy.

If your order has not yet been dispatched, we should be able to cancel it immediately and process your refund. If, however, you order has been processed, you have 14 days from receipt of goods to inform us of your intention to cancel your order. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. Returns received outside this 14 day period will not be accepted and will be shipped back to you.

Any items returned must be in unused condition and in the original packaging, which should also be in as-new condition. Any signs of overhandling will result in a charge against the amount refunded.

Items must be returned at your own cost, and we recommend that you use a reputable, insured service as the goods will remain your property until your order is refunded. Any items returned without proof of postage that are lost in transit are not the responsibility of CJ Performance Cycles, and we reserve the right to cancel any refunds in this scenario.

A refund will be issued once the products have been received and inspected by CJ Performance Cycles, usually within 14 days.

The 2024 Giant Expression E+ 1 is a stylish, step-through electric hybrid bike designed to make daily riding easier and more enjoyable. Whether you’re commuting, running errands, or heading out for weekend leisure rides, the Expression E+ 1 blends comfort, practicality, and smart pedal-assist technology in two elegant finishes: Copper Coin or Gloss Cosmos Navy.

Its ALUXX-grade aluminium frame features a low-step design for easy mounting and dismounting, making it accessible for a wide range of riders. The Yamaha SyncDrive Core motor delivers 250W of power and 50Nm of torque, providing smooth, quiet assistance up to 25km/h. Paired with the EnergyPak Smart 600Wh battery, it offers excellent range for daily commutes and longer leisure rides.

The Smart Assist mode uses six sensors to automatically adjust support based on terrain and rider input, ensuring efficient energy use and a natural ride feel. The Shimano Nexus 7-Speed drivetrain provides reliable shifting and a wide gear range, while Shimano hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent stopping power in all conditions.

EnergyPak
Giant’s latest EnergyPak battery systems feature streamlined designs that are integrated with the E-bike for a sleek and modern profile. Giant E-bikes offer several different EnergyPak options including the EnergyPak Smart and EnergyPak. Each one is designed to optimize the E-bike experience for a specific style of riding.
RideControl Dash
This two-in-one unit features buttons to control support modes plus an integrated color display. You can check range, battery level and support mode, along with standard cycling data such as speed and distance without having to another screen to the E-bike. It also has an ANT+ connection so you can connect a heart rate monitor and other fitness devices.
Smart Assist
All SyncDrive motors have Smart Assist technology, which adjusts the support to match the rider’s needs. By using information from multiple sensors, both rider input and terrain feedback are used to determine the optimal amount of pedaling assistance. SyncDrive is the only e-bike system that utilizes both rider input and terrain feedback. It gives you a smooth, natural riding experience with ample power when you need it, while also conserving power when you don’t need as much.
SyncDrive Core
SyncDrive Core is a compact and lightweight motor, making it ideal for E-bikes used for daily transportation or recreation. It has Smart Assist technology, featuring six sensors including a slope detection sensor and an accelerometer. These sensors allow the motor to produce power based on rider input and the terrain, so there is no need to select a certain assist mode. You can simply ride the same way you normally would, but with more power. The result is an extremely comfortable and natural riding experience. SyncDrive Core delivers a very quiet performance that’s also powerful, with tunable support ratios up to 300 percent.
