
We house Shimano Service Centre in both of our stores. Whether you use your bike for sports, commuting or recreation, a reliable bike service is key in ensuring that you continue to enjoy your bike. Regular bike service by professionals increases the longevity of your bike as well as your riding pleasure. It also helps prevent unexpected, avoidable service costs.

When are the workshops open?
Both workshop are open 6 days a week. Monday to Friday 09:30 - 17:30. Saturday 09:30 to 17:00. Closed Sunday.
How do I book?
This can be done either in person or by telephone (Cramlington 01670 712 536, Newcastle 0191 276 0941), and speak with one of our mechanics about the kind of service you require. Our workshops are always a busy part of our business so advance booking is usually recommended but we endeavour to work round whichever day is best for you.

Bronze Service - £50

Silver Service - £80 - 3 month guarantee on all work carried out.
- Check & Adjust all moving parts
- Check and adjust rear mech
- Check and adjust front mech
- Clean wheel rim / disc rotor
- Check brake pads and remove pinning
- Adjust and set rear brake
- Adjust and set front brake
- Check wheel nuts / quick releases are tight
- Lubricate all cables at entrance and exits from housings
- Inflate tyres to recommended pressure
- Minor wheels true (Not trued on a wheel jig)
- Check and adjust bolts;
- Stem bolts @ 5Nm
- Seat clamp @ 5-6Nm
- Crank bolts
- Pedals (into cranks)

Silver Plus Service - £110 - 3 month guarantee on all work carried out.
As Silver Service with the addition of the removal of both the chain and cassette, which are then degreased and cleaned in our parts washer.
PLEASE NOTE: This service includes the labour of fitting service parts only. Service parts are brake pads, cables, cassette, chain and jockey wheels. Not, Bar tape, grips, spokes, computers, pannier racks, mudguards, or the fitting of parts supplied by the customers.
Gold Service - £180 (includes inner cables) - 6 month guarantee on all work carried out.
With our Gold Service, the bicycle is stripped down to the frame. Then every part is carefully checked over and refitted. Serviceable bearings are regreased. New cables and bearings are fitted if required. If maintenance has been minimal over the years, a Gold Service will make the bike ride like new again. If you ride every day, we recommend that you treat your bike to an annual Gold Service.
