The woom GO 1 is a beautifully engineered 12" balance bike designed to help toddlers between the ages of 18 months and 3 1/2yrs up take their first confident steps into the world of cycling. With its ultra-lightweight frame, child-specific geometry, and intuitive design, the GO 1 makes learning to balance feel natural, safe, and fun.
At the heart of the GO 1 is its superlight AL-6061 aluminium frame, weighing just 3kg. This makes it one of the lightest balance bikes in its class—easy for toddlers to manoeuvre and for parents to carry when little legs get tired. The low step-through design and extra-low saddle height make mounting and dismounting effortless, even for the smallest riders.
The ergonomic contact points—including a soft, toddler-sized saddle and narrow, easy-grip handlebars—are carefully designed to match the proportions of young children. The steering limiter prevents over-rotation of the handlebars, helping toddlers maintain control and avoid jackknifing during sharp turns.
The GO 1 rolls on 12" air-filled tyres with lightweight alloy rims, offering a smooth, cushioned ride across pavement, grass, and park paths. The tyres provide excellent grip and shock absorption, helping children stay upright and comfortable as they explore. A rear hand brake with a short-reach lever introduces the concept of braking early, building confidence and control before transitioning to pedal bikes.
The frame geometry is tuned for stability and responsiveness, encouraging natural balance development and reducing the need for training wheels later on.
