There's no boil in the bag effect here, though, thanks to breathable side panels and rear pockets made of stretch woven fabric, which will let heat and sweat escape while being flexible enough to accommodate a lunch or cake stop. There's also a small, zipped valuables pocket at the side.
The whole thing will pack down easily into a jersey pocket, but can also carry quite a few spares, layers and gels itself in its own two roomy back pockets and zippered valuables pocket.
