New bike + bike fit. I visited CJ’s at the start of the year in search of a new bike, as I was beginning my training for 103 mile charity ride. My rusty old hybrid simply wouldnt cut it anymore! The sales experience was first class, interested in getting you the right bike, not just the most expensive one or the one they needed to get shifted! I absolutely LOVED my new Giant Revolt from the second I got it.
So, in putting the miles in I knew quickly that something wasn’t right – significant knee and lower back pain. Enter Chris, and the chance to spend some time with him having a bike fit. This was the best money I’ve ever spent on anything bike related. The detail that Chris went into, on every aspect of the bike to make sure everything was right. The knowledge he had and the fact he didn’t speak to me like I’m some clueless weekend warrior (even though I am!). No stone left unturned in making sure the bike was set up perfectly for me.
The proof is in the results, countless hours on the bike since, thousands of training miles and completing my first ever century in (relative!) comfort. All made possible by Chris and his bike fit expertise. I find everyone in the store to be friendly, good banter, patient and just a pleasure to deal with. I’ll not go anywhere else for as long as I can ride a bike.
